A little about Indio
Indio is a small city in the riverside County jurisdiction, California. Indio is located in the coachella valley of the Southern California Colorado desert territory. This city lies about 23 miles east from the Palm Springs and 75 miles east from Riverside. Los Angeles is 148 miles away from here. It was earlier referred to as the Hub of the Valley during the 1970s and now it is called as the City of Festivals, because of the numerous festivals and events hosted. The most notable of them all is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Famous bands like AC/DC, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N’ Roses, and many more come to this festival to perform live here.
