A very popular and beautiful city within the Riverside County is the Palm Desert, in the Coachella Valley. It is approximately 14 miles from the East of Palm Springs and 122 miles from Los Angeles. The estimated population of Palm Desert is around 53,000 in 2019. Due to the massive development in the nearby cities and regions, Palm Desert has grown over the years as well. There are several camping grounds, golf courses and various other areas for participating in recreational activities. The perfect time to visit Palm Desert is usually during the months of January and March.
